Q. I was in an accident and taken to the hospital by ambulance. The doctors examined me, took my x-rays, and prescribed medications for the pain. They told me I would be fine and pain-free in a few days. Now it’s been three days and I am just getting worse. Why?

A. Injuries to ligaments, tendons, muscles, nerves and discs cannot be detected by a traditional x-ray or medical exams. A chiropractic evaluation includes orthopedic and neurological examination to begin the process of rehabilitation. Chiropractors will check the alignment to see if there are misaligned vertebrae that occurred during the accident. Misaligned vertebrae are the leading cause of pinched nerves, which lead to muscle spasms and other life threatening conditions.

Q. If I need treatment for my injuries, do I need to pay for it myself?

A. If you were hit by another car, 100% of the time the other insurance company pays for your injuries. Many automobile insurance policies have “no fault” coverage, meaning that the insurance company will pay medical bills regardless of who is at fault. This “no fault” coverage is also referred to as “medical payments” and will pay medical bills at 100% up to a certain limit. Patients with health insurance may also get coverage under their health policy. We also offer FREE consultation and x-ray to document your injuries. We’ll tell and show you what’s wrong with you during your consultation.

Q. Because I was in an accident and my car was a total loss, I do not have transportation. How can I get to your office for treatment

A. If you do not have transportation due to your accident, please call our offices and we can make arrangements to assist you during the course of your treatment.

Q. I was in an accident and the other person’s insurance company offered me $500. They said this would cover both medical and pain and suffering. Should I accept this offer?

A. I am not an attorney and I believe you should seek an attorney’s advice before accepting any offer. From a medical standpoint, you should always be diagnosed fully in order to receive proper treatment for any visible and not visible injuries. Injuries from accidents may not be noticeable immediately. Getting diagnosed fully will help us identify such injuries.

Q. I was in an automobile accident and had passengers in the car. Some of the passengers were my children. Should they be examined and treated too?

A. Everyone should be examined if they are in an automobile accident. Children are more prone to injuries in their spine due to the fact that their ligaments and tendons are not as developed as those in adults. Any and all passengers must be examined to prevent chronic pain and future complications from accident injuries.

Q. How are your doctors different from other clinics?

A. Our doctors have been treating soft tissue injuries for over 20 years. We are committed to your treatment and recovery. In order to ensure you receive the recovery you deserve, we not only focus on your treatment, but also on thorough documentation. After treating thousands of patients, it is a proven fact that having proper documentation can secure settlement statements. Our doctors will not only provide you the recovery you deserve but also the settlement you deserve.
